Network Marketing/MLM –Are Women more successful than Men?

Are Women more successful than Men in Network and Affiliate Marketing?

It appears to some people that women are more successful than men, when it comes to Network or Affiliate Marketing, so I want to see if that was true, and if so why...

There have been many men who have become wildly successful entrepreneurs through the realm of Network Marketing. Many of these individuals have even amassed fortunes well into the millions of dollars. While the success is quite laudatory it has perpetuated a somewhat false impression that network marketing is a male only field. This is most assuredly not the case as many women have achieved significant success in this realm as well. In fact, when you look at the demographic breakdown, women have a higher percentage rate of success than men do. Yes, there are tremendous amount of women earn significant supplemental and full time incomes through their network marketing ventures.

Of course, this brings about the question what is it that makes women more successful at network marketing? There are number of reasons and probably the most important reason are found at the core of network marketing itself. Network marketing is about relationships and interaction with other people. After all, if you are unable to work well with other people or make other people feel comfortable with you then you will never be able to create the confidence necessary to build up a solid network.

This works greatly to women's favor. Far too many men are overly aggressive in their approach to building a network. They rush to build their network and emphasize pressure in their approach. Often, this is called a hard sell approach and for those who have a skill at this it can be quite effective. However, the numbers of people who can be effective with a pushy are limited. After all, who really wants to deal with the pushy salesman? Even if the individual is employing a very credible internet attraction marketing strategy, the veneer will come off the strategy once a pushy sales pitch is enacted.

Women overall have a much better approach. Since women take a more nurturing communal approach to building their networks, they have a tendency to have higher percentages of overall success. (The nurturing approach makes for very successful social marketing) This is one of the reasons why the demographics indicate women are more successful with their network marketing ventures.

The more nurturing and maternal approach puts people at ease. Keep in mind, when it comes to internet marketing, many people are leery about getting involved as fraud abounds. Sadly, there are a number of below board operations on the internet and many people do not take work at home opportunities seriously. When the pitch man for these opportunities is a pushy salesman, people generally do not want to become involved with the venture.

However, a stable work at home mother who has a more honest approach in building a network will attract people. It is simply a matter of better instilling trust. This creates a number of opportunities for women who frequent social networking sites like Facebook, message boards, and online communities as they can build a significant network of affiliates. While no one can guarantee success, the figures show that women are more predisposed success in their forays into network marketing.
